Day One (or is it Two?)

This will be a short post as we are in Heathrow Airport in London. We checked into a YOTEL to catch a shower and some sleep before the second leg (actually third since we flew from Wichita to Chicago) on Monday.

Somehow we managed to re-arrange all the care packs and supplies from our home church (First Baptist in Liberal, KS http://www.fbcliberal.org/) into our suitcases and got through security. We did learn that peanut butter falls under the list of banned carry-on items. I guess if you can spread it, it falls under the category of a gel. Oh well - live and learn.

The flight to London was uneventful (unless you can call my wife getting sick to her stomach uneventful - she may disagree). She has recovered and the group spent the morning sightseeing in London. We have a 12 hour layover so we rode 'the tube' into London.

We have been getting to know each other in the group and it looks to be a lively bunch.

We need to head for the plane soon so I will wrap this up.

Thanks for your prayers!

The adventure continues......
